He Has All the Power You Need!
Some of you desperately need help. You may feel like you’re gasping and nearly drowning in your problems. Work pressures, a new job, parenting problems, a deep sorrow, some type of addiction – these can all be major difficulties for us to face. In whatever area you need help, you might like to consider what Isaiah 41:13 says, “ For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.'” Imagine the Mighty God holding your hand! He’s the Great Creator; the True God. He’s big enough to conquer any problem. Ps 124:8 “Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.” Wow, since He created heaven and the earth, He certainly has all the power needed to help us!
Disappointment and difficulty come to everyone. Life has its challenges. We can focus on the problems, or we can grab hold of the fact that God Almighty promises to help us, and therefore we don’t need to fear. He is the ever-present God. He’s always waiting and longing for us to come to Him with our needs. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble, therefore we will not fear…” Ps 46:1,2
Ps 146:5 “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God, 6 Who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them.” What joy we will experience when, in the face of difficulties, God ‘holds our hand’ and helps us through the darkest hours.
